Missions – local, domestic and international – are taken very seriously at FBC Pageland. There are several members that participate in the South Carolina Baptist Convention’s Disaster Relief program and also the Chesterfield County Baptist Association Disaster Relief Program. The church also sponsors and overwhelmingly supports regular mission trips. Examples would be trips to Guatemala, Honduras and West Virginia. We also consider each member to be on mission and seek to promote opportunities to help them live out a missional life. FBC Pageland has an active Women’s Missionary Union and Brotherhood group. We support the Annie Armstrong, Janie Chapman and Lottie Moon Missions' offerings and have Sunday School classes that regularly support various missions’ opportunities. We also participate regularly in the Blessings in a Backpack program at Petersburg Primary School through Chesterfield County First Steps. The Helping Hands Outreach Center is housed in our old parsonage and the church, along with other community churches, businesses and organizations, help support this monetarily, with food donations and with volunteers.
